All in all, we had a nice but very short trip to Wisconsin for Xmas. I very quickly put together my scrapbook pages of the trip for my "Trips Home" album because graduate school classes are starting to get under way and I will be too busy in a few weeks. Please enjoy! Click on the images to see larger versions so you can read the journaling.
The digital kit I used for all six pages is called I Love Cocoa, designed by Kristin Cronin-Barrow at Sweet Shoppe Designs.

What a trip! I love the woods picture and your black jacket.
Love the layout, perfect choice for Xmas! And hey, have I been reduced to "friend"? My name is only three letters long so it will still fit! :-)

Also, along the lines of the "annual Xmas blow-up" are the printed napkins my parents bought for the holidays this year, which have a picture of a melting snowman and state: "It's not a family get-together until someone has a meltdown."

amy, you are totally right. I was just thinking the same thing this morning when I was reading over the journaling and I thought, "gee, I should go back in and change that!"
Amy, I changed it.
I see that. Thanks, dear.
Also, take a look at Ailin in that picture of us at the mall. Evidently we each held her with one hand, but it looks as if someone is holding her from behind, as both you and I obviously have our hands full elsewhere. It's kinda funny.
